Queer - Queer, 4 Canal Street, Manchester, M1 3HE map

• A gay lifestyle bar in the heart of the village, queer is crisp, clean and new, brought to us by the same group as essential.  The menu includes Burgers, king prawns and all day breakfasts and is a real mix of styles although it is very, very reasonably priced and the bar list likewise. During the day it’s a chilled out place but come the evening it all changes and queer becomes a great pre-club venue. The Falcon, a men only bar next door has since closed and become a specific part of Queer itself, renamed ‘The Main Arena’.  Queer is possibly the only bar in manchester that has its very own radio staion in the toilets inviting you to sit back, relax and listen to ‘cottage chat’ as you do the business. Beats reading a paper!
