• Starting out as an extremely popular student bar in fallowfield, Trof has now grown up and made the move to the extremely trendy northern quarter in manchester. Over 2006 and 2007 a countless number of bars have opened or are due to open in this already well populated part of manchester and Trof should be one that succeeds as long as it keeps to the successful recipe of great food, being served in very large portions at reasonable prices along with some quality imported beers and lagers from all around the world. • Previously the very popular RSVP which closed down in January 2007, the venue has now become home to Manchester’s very own Slug and Lettuce which offers typical bar food and a good range of drinks behind the bar, also available are cocktails and a wine menu. In preporation for the smoking ban which comes into effect in July 2007 The Slug and Lettuce have decided on a no smoking policy throughout.
